FIRE FIGHTING
FM TANK's original activity was the design, manufacture and installation of specific fire-fighting water storage tanks. That activity made the reputation of our metal tanks.
Quick to produce, install and maintain, our water storage tanks give fire-fighters access to water reserves anywhere in the country to guarantee the safety of inhabitants, homes and forests as well as factories, production sites, shopping centres or public places.
As a manufacturer, we make a point of using the best steels to manufacture these water tanks to be able to guarantee their durability and long service life. Built from punched galvanised steel plates bolted together on site, their ease of assembly means they can be commissioned quickly. Our feeder connection systems are tailor-made and can be adapted to all types of use according to your specific needs (sprinkler tank, fire-fighter tank, glycol tank).
FM TANK can also cover your tank with either a conical roof or a flat metal cladding roof to protect the water from external elements (plant debris, wildlife, etc.).
Our design office designs and calculates each tank in-house to meet applicable safety standards (APSAD, NF EN 12845, NFPA).
We are an approved installer and can work anywhere in France but also elsewhere.
These water tanks are installed on a concrete slab by assembling and mounting successive cylinders using a lifting system specific to this activity.
The structure is anchored to the slab using anchor brackets and specific pins.
Leak tightness is provided by a reinforced PVC liner which is produced to measure and prefabricated in the factory to perfectly fit every water tank.
This leak tight membrane is supported by a specially produced puncture-proof felt.
Many accessories are available for assembly on site (overflow downpipe, safety ladder, inspection hatch, convection chamber with heating element to protect from freezing temperatures, etc.).
